As a Region Safety Director with our Fluid Solutions Division, your role is important to ensure compliance with all Company and governmental safety and environmental health regulations. This role will focus on the planning, developing, implementing, and administering safety policies, programs, and training for your assigned region. We’ll provide the tools, the technology and the support you need to do the job right. You’ll be proud of your team and the work we all do in providing the equipment that helps safely build our communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably relating to Safety and Health. Master’s degree preferred
  • 7 to 10 years of safety related experience to include at least 3 years management experience
  • Ability to persuasively communicate with all levels of management
  • Strong training and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and other operations applications
  • Strong knowledge in all areas of OSHA and ANSI including, but not limited to, CFR 1910 and 1926 as well as legislation affecting these areas
  • Knowledge in all areas of FMCR’s as they relate to the rental industry

Nice To Haves

  • Occupational Health-Safety and/or accredited professional certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Protect the Company’s employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries and accidents by directing, implementing, and overseeing the administration of safety and key loss prevention programs
  • Responsible for safety related, regional profit and loss by establishing and delivering claim cost reduction and containment metrics
  • Ensure safety compliance by overseeing OSHA, DOT, and other compliance related activities
  • Prevent accidents and other safety exposures by investigating, identifying causes, and developing preventative measures and practices
  • Build successful business partnerships by communicating with corporate Safety department, customer safety managers, and regional management and employees
  • Meet safety and environmental health goals by developing and implementing training programs consistent with governmental regulations and business and customer needs
  • Mitigate risk exposure by identifying sources of safety and environmental risk and developing needed programs, policies, and procedures
  • Other duties assigned as needed
