Summary The Virtual Region Manager is responsible for the remote management of a team using a proprietary management platform. This role requires meeting and exceeding client sales expectations and overall district responsibility for program effectiveness, employee oversight and client/customer satisfaction while utilizing virtual management tools. This is an office type remote role that will require a strong focus on organization and planning, technical knowledge, collaboration, communication, adaptability, and responsiveness. Ideal candidate will thrive utilizing a strong virtual presence and the ability to be screen ready for entire work schedule. Virtual Regional Manager’s must have strong performance management and coaching skills allowing ongoing development of their retail Sales Reps. The Region Manager is responsible for product training, communication, planning, and relationship management. They provide client feedback and metrics, develop partnerships, seek new opportunities, and drive brand advocacy in their market. Additionally, they coordinate the field team’s efforts, support territory teams, meet reporting deadlines, and ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Ability to successfully develop, implement, and manage a fully remote program
  • Must be able to lead, motivate, coach and influence a remote team
  • Ability to focus, time-management, prioritize, organize, meet deadlines and goals

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years’ experience in Area Manager, management or leadership role
  • 2+ years’ experience in industry-related field
  • Demonstrated success driving sales and operational performance remotely
  • Full‑time remote capability; strong technological proficiency; Digital literacy
  • May require up to 15% travel; 2-3 weeks per quarter

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements regional strategies, monitors performance across the region, and ensures alignment with company goals
  • Conduct weekly virtual business reviews, coaching sessions, and performance check‑ins.
  • Manages a team of remote Managers and may oversee other support staff within the region.
  • Recruit, hire, train and mentor leaders and other staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Leads, develops, and drives team performance, ensuring consistent quality to satisfy and exceed program goals and objectives utilizing virtual management tools.
  • Closely monitor program objectives and provide critical performance feedback
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures. Providing timely, constructive feedback to managers and teams in real-time and in alignment with the performance management process
  • Develops, maintains and implements processes and KPI's to drive performance and continuous improvement
  • Partners closely with client to provide consistent feedback and performance summary.
  • Provides reporting and analysis on an ad-hoc basis for internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitors performance and improvement by tracking sales, analyzing performance data, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and profitability
  • Provides program oversight and direction with a client centric approach
  • Responsible for regional financial performance
  • Ensures sales, market and competitive information is recorded
  • Manages client commitment and expectations
  • Consistently evaluate region’s performance vs. expectations
  • Conducts monthly and quarterly business reviews
