About The Position
Linen Worker What you will do: Performs linen handling functions including cart preparation, distribution of clean linen to user departments, pack making and soiled linen pick-up. Environmental Services What you will do: The goal of Environmental Services is to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff in keeping with the mission and philosophy of St. Peter's Health Partners. We are looking for the right candidate to join our Environmental Services team. If you are energetic who is seeking opportunities for growth and development, this is the position for you!
Requirements
- Need 1 year of linen experience.
- Computer knowledge desired.
- Candidate must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- Possess a basic knowledge of how to dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize.
Responsibilities
- Performs linen handling functions including cart preparation
- Distribution of clean linen to user departments
- Pack making and soiled linen pick-up
- Provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
- Performs functions, duties and carry out responsibilities of housekeeping
