POSITION SUMMARY The Registered Cardiac Sonographer functions as a healthcare provider who, working under the Medical and Technical director, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Cardiac Sonographer role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medical sonography services and its various clinical specialties. The Cardiac Sonographer activities are performed consistent with their education and training and in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Graduate of a school of Diagnostic Medical/Cardiac Sonography Minimum Experience N/A Required Registration/License/Certification RDCS or RCS Preferred Education Graduate of a school of Diagnostic Medical/Cardiac Sonography Preferred Experience One year of cardiac sonography experience. Preferred Registration/License/Certification RDCS or RCS Other Requirements N/A Additional Information BONUS DETAILS East Alabama Health will be offering a $10,000 Sign-On bonus to the new hire that fills this full-time vacancy.
