The role involves obtaining 2D and 3D echocardiograms with color and spectral doppler at the patient's bedside and in the echo lab. The sonographer will also perform stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms as requested, and assist cardiologists with TEE and intracardiac echo in the cardiac Cath lab. The position requires participation in a hospital on-call schedule, with a requirement to arrive within 45 minutes of being called.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in echo including 2D Doppler, Color Doppler and TEE
• Must obtain ARDMS or CCI certifications for Adult Echocardiography within 6 months of employment

Responsibilities

• Obtain 2D and 3D echocardiograms with color and spectral doppler at the patient's bedside and in echo lab
• Perform stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms as requested
• Assist cardiologists with TEE and intracardiac echo in the cardiac Cath lab
• Rotate hospital on call schedule, arriving within 45 minutes of call
