About The Position
The Refund Specialist is responsible for reviewing patient accounts, identifying patient and insurance overpayments, and credit balances. This position works closely with insurance companies and internal billers to reconcile correct payments received. Additionally, evaluates and verifies refunds are issued in accordance with current policies and procedures.
