About The Position

Hanover Foods is currently looking for a Refrigeration Technician C for the 2nd shift. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The duties listed below are representative of the types of responsibilities required for the role. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the organization: Successfully completes Emergency Response Training and annual medical/physical examinations. Performs supervised repairs and maintenance on refrigeration and freezer systems, including ammonia pumps, compressors, boilers, and control valves. Ensures all safety guards and protective devices are in place before operating equipment. Promptly reports any product quality concerns to the Manager, Supervisor, and/or Quality Assurance personnel. Properly handles and disposes of waste materials in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines. Demonstrates a strong desire and aptitude for professional growth, including advancing to higher levels of refrigeration responsibility through ongoing training and education. Adheres to all safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintains strict compliance with plant hygiene and sanitation procedures to protect product integrity. Keeps work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times. Follows all food safety, legality, and quality policies and procedures, including GMPs, food security, product quality, and plant security standards. Requirements
