About The Position

Skylark Meats, LLC, an American Foods Group Company has an opportunity for a Refrigeration – Ice Chippe r at our Omaha, NE plant. As a Refrigeration – Ice Chipper you will be responsible for: Daily removal of any ice buildup in the freezers. Daily removal of any hoarfrost in the freezers. Cleanup of the Engine room and surrounding area. Attend documented training on company procedures. Follow all HACCP, SSOPs, and SOPs and GMP policies and procedures. NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to withstand long periods in a cold, warm, or wet/damp environments.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform consistent, accurate work with minimal direction and work successfully as part of a team.
