Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • State Technical School apprenticeship and/or Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or an accredited Industrial Refrigeration, Boiler Tech program or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have knowledge of compressed air systems
  • Must be able to train and be certified in Hazmat Level A Entry
  • Must be dependable and can work flexible hours and/or shifts
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be a team player, but also work well alone
  • Specific Eye Requirements: no contact lenses allowed in engine room when welding or electrical troubleshooting and repair

Nice To Haves

  • Previous production/maintenance/refrigeration experience
  • RETA or IIAR Certification
  • Electrical experience preferred
  • Work history in the past 12 months

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring and upkeep of all Ammonia Refrigeration systems
  • Perform shift audits of boilers, steam plant and all steam end users
  • Test and treat boiler feed water; monitors RO and water softeners
  • Observes boiler, condensate, and feed water systems units to detect malfunctions. Make adjustments and repairs as required.
  • Maintain log of meter and gauge readings and records data such as water test results, quantity of fuel consumed, temperature and pressures
  • Assist with troubleshooting, analyzing and repair of electrical control systems
  • Willing and able to work a schedule covering 24/7/365
  • Perform multiple tasks simultaneously
