We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Full-time Referral Tracking Specialist position available for ourSeattle - White Center location in the Behavioral HealthDepartment. We are looking for an energetic, high-paced individualwho is able to meet deadlines with proficiency and also able to multitask. The Referral Tracking Specialist is responsible for tracking SeaMar provider referrals to specialist and imaging facilities, closingthe loop on the referral with the patient, specialist, and in theelectronic health record. The Referral Tracking Specialist shallmonitor, measure, and intervene in the referrals processed by theMedical Assistants to assure that the patients are getting the carethat was requested and that there is proper documentation in the EPICSystem.

Requirements

  • This candidate shall be competent in the use of business machines,such as fax, phone system, EPIC, and Microsoft Office and Excelproficiency.
  • They must have a working knowledge of the medical industry andmanaged care plans.
  • Must be able to interpret different types ofpatient medical records documents.
  • Have the drive and ability to work seamlessly with the rest of theclinical and other department teams to reach goals.
  • High school or GED is required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical office experience and experience processing referrals or inhealth information management preferred.
