The Patient Referral Coordinator works under general supervision and is responsible for the coordination of new patient referrals, to include submission, tracking, patient scheduling, and closing the loop on all referrals as well as the coordination of treatment for hospital and/or ancillary services. Entails communicating with clinical staff, providers as well as payors and patients. The New Patient Referral Coordinator ensures an efficient referral process which provides a seamless consistent process of referral for the patient across the Neurology Service Line.
