About The Position

The Asessment / Referral Coordinator is responsible for the timely processing of inquiry and referral calls. Serves as liaison to referral sources, physicians, unit staff and hospital personnel involved with each transfer request. Enters call data into the facility’s database and manages all e-fax application(s) to process incoming referrals and transfer requests in a timely manner. Effectively communicate with unit staff, physicians, and Admissions Triage Staff. Follow hospital’s policies and procedures regarding referral management.
Position Hours:
Monday - Friday
7:00pm - 11:30pm

Requirements

• Licensed RN
• Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health related field (QMHP)
• 1-3 years of experience preferred in psychiatric health care.
• License must be current and in good standing.
