Euclid Public Library is accepting applications for an energetic and creative person to join our Adult Services team as a Reference Librarian. We are seeking a candidate with a strong interest in fiction and demonstrated skills in collection development who possesses knowledge of a wide range of books, authors, and popular culture trends. A major component of the role involves providing essential reference and reader' advisory services, helping patrons navigate our digital and print resources to locate the information and entertainment they need. You will also be heavily involved in the planning, coordination, and presentation of educational and engaging programs for adults. A master's degree in library science from an ALA-accredited school is required, and those currently in an MLS program within 12 credit hours of degree completion are welcome to apply. A key responsibility will be serving as Senior in Charge of the building during scheduled shifts and independently resolving complex patron issues and emergencies.
