About The Position

Basic Purpose: Positions in this role are responsible for providing reentry services to individuals discharged from incarceration. These positions assist with the processing, ordering, and tracking of pre‑release resources to ensure the agency’s reentry and pre‑release service needs are met. Typical Functions: · Interprets and advises agency personnel and the general public on departmental rules, regulations and laws governing the operation of the agency, division or department program. · Plans, develops and conducts training, seminars, meetings, or clinics as required; represents the agency at meetings, seminars, and conferences. · Support the management of digital platforms used to deliver programming curricula and resource materials. · Coordinate and assist with managing reentry and community outreach resources across approved digital platforms, including webpages and group‑sharing systems. · Process, order, and track essential pre-release and reentry identification documents such as birth certificates, state‑issued IDs, and driver’s licenses. · Collect, record, and maintain data and resources related to the assigned reentry program area. · Assist in identifying and supporting training needs within the assigned reentry area, including preparation and coordination of training materials or sessions. · Perform clerical duties such as document preparation, data entry, and file management to support reentry operations. · Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient delivery of reentry and pre‑release services. · Contribute to the coordination and oversight of pre-release resources to meet agency needs and ensure continuity of services for individuals transitioning from incarceration. Level Descriptor: At this level employees are assigned responsibilities, which are limited in size or scope involving the supervision, direction, management, coordination, or implementation of various programs or functions within an agency. This may include professional or supervisory level work with responsibility for an important component of a comprehensive or specialized operating program, providing services in a variety of management areas such as formulation of agency policies, budget preparation, physical plan operations, or personnel and fiscal management, or performing highly specialized executive level administrative support functions and activities.

  • Ability to organize and present facts and opinions.
  • Bachelor's degree and one year of professional or technical administrative experience in business or public administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
  • Some positions will require the applicants be willing and able to perform all job-related travel.
