About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US , is looking to hire a Refrigeration Technician in Hutchinson, KS ! The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of medium-duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation. The Refrigeration Technician will require a high level of proficiency and working knowledge working on Thermo King Reefer Units . Note you must have your EPA 608 Certification, Reefer maintenance and diagnostic experience repairing the Refrigeration unit (Diesel Engine) on a Trailer. Due to the nature of the repair flow, could repair some Trailers (DOT Inspections and Repairs) if Reefer Units are in working condition. Compensation: $30-36/hr Hourly Pay, Depending on Experience - Paid weekly, every Friday! Shift : Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00am - 4:30pm The benefits of belonging – what’s in it for you? Experience with PMs and A/C Must have a valid Driver's License (CDL not needed) Must provide own hand tools & toolbox. Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.) Working Conditions: Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job. Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes, and noise. Exposure to chemicals, oils, grease,s or other irritants Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance Ability to move and position heavy objects Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, knee,l and crawl to repair vehicles Ability to work outside in various weather conditions. Requirements

Experience with Reefer units (Thermo King and/or Carrier)
608 Certification required!
Experience with PMs and A/C
Must have a valid Driver's License (CDL not needed)
Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.
