About The Position

Enjoy hands-on work and keeping things running smoothly? As a Reefer Technician, you’ll ensure our refrigerated trailers are in top condition and ready to roll! The Transportation Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for all maintenance on our fleet of over 160 trucks.

Requirements

2-6 years of experience in Reefer Trailer Repair
Reefer Experience required
NYS Driver’s License required
Must have basic mechanical tools

Nice To Haves

Air Brake Certification preferred
Diesel Engine Certification preferred
CDL A or CDL B preferred
Inspectors' License preferred

Responsibilities

Performing preventative maintenance and required repairs on G&C-owned diesel equipment such as Yard Trucks, Trailers, and Road Tractors
Performing minor repairs to G&C Leased equipment when necessary
Assist the Transportation Maintenance Supervisor with repairing the washing equipment
Assist with other duties as assigned
