This position is responsible for maintaining accurate membership records and files, receiving, logging, and safeguarding youth information and program fees. The clerk greets, directs, and aids youth and visitors in a positive and professional manner, checking members in and out using a member tracking system for real-time accountability. They provide tours and informational flyers to parents and visitors, answer phones, respond to caller questions, and offer clerical support to staff. The role ensures all youth and parents/guardians have a safe, efficient, and pleasant experience entering and exiting the center. The clerk demonstrates a commitment to upholding The Salvation Army mission and values, participating in ministry advancement by collaborating with Salvation Army Officers to ensure Red Shield Youth Centers provide an engaging, enriching, and empowering environment where youth develop Christ-like character. They are also responsible for implementing and maintaining all Red Shield Youth Center operational standards related to their job responsibilities.
