Requirements

• Experience within a similar operational manual handling role
• Good IT skills
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety
• Driving licence essential to travel to the different sites around Merseyside & Halton
• This role involves manual handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist members of the public in the deposit of their household recyclable materials and waste
• Operate site mobile plant as and when required
• Remove any fly tipped waste from outside of the site gates and fence line and maintain signs and notices
• Perform routine daily checks, maintenance and cleaning of plant, tools and equipment as and when require
• Provide and maintain a daily log of events and activities at the site
• Record attendance at work by the completion and subsequent authorisation of weekly timesheets
• Work on various sites across the Merseyside & Halton contract
