About The Position

The Recycling Assistant position in the Mission Integration Office of Newman University requires self-motivation, a belief in the value of recycling and an openness to physical work.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be a current Newman University Student enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credit hours)
  • Communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Weekly check the blue totes and green recycle boxes in each building on campus.
  • Transport recyclable cardboard to the proper “dumpster” weekly.
  • Transport recyclable materials to the proper bin every other week.
  • Help to keep the recycling efforts flexible and working on campus.
  • Complete University-required trainings, including Title IX.
  • Other duties as assigned.
