About The Position
Summary: Recycling employees are responsible for maintaining a clean building while processing cardboard, Styrofoam, and plastic in our recycling department. Job Responsibilities: Process cardboard using the cardboard bailer Process plastic using the plastic bailer Process Styrofoam using the Styrofoam machine Collect recycling throughout the DC using a tugger and rolling plates. Separate recycling before processing Complete safety training class on all machines Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses warehouse equipment such as Hi-Lo’s, Tuggers, bailers, etc. Dress according to weather. Safety toe footwear is required. Requirements Physical Demands: The employee will regularly be standing, walking, lifting, and bending. Qualifications needed to perform this position: Must be 18 years of age or older to operate machines Ability to work in a team format Ability to stay productive without constant supervision Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position working AM shift
