About The Position

Under direct supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Recruitment Supervisor provides oversight and supervision of the human-centered recruitment strategy, including active and intentional recruitment process, stakeholder relationship building, and inclusive candidate experience. This position assists with the management and enhancement of the talent acquisition unit infrastructure ensuring an equitable experience for all external constituents. In collaboration with stakeholders, the Recruitment Supervisor supports the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of an efficient, human-centered candidate sourcing process.  Provides high-touch, prompt communication to support both recruits and hiring managers throughout the entire pre-application process. In alignment with ASI’s guiding ideas, the Recruitment Supervisor will contribute to and maintain a student learning-centered HR Department by working collaboratively with organizational stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 12 credit/units in Management and Human Resources (MHR), or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in recruitment
  • 6 months of customer service experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of leading or supervising the work of others
  • Experience presenting to audiences ...
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data, identify trends and recommend improvement practices in talent acquisition
  • Working knowledge of human resources functions, procedures, and systems

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recruitment, supervision, training, development, scheduling, performance management, and guidance as needed to unit personnel, setting goals, and preparing evaluations of their performance, and cross-training to effectively work towards a cohesive, collaborative, and synergistic team: (4) Recruitment Assistants
  • Ensure assigned operations in the unit are carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures based on organizational and department goals and progressive human-centered HR standards
  • Manage the Recruitment Assistants team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner and guide overall areas’ priorities.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of the ASI recruitment strategy to meet the cyclical staffing needs of the organization, serving as the initial point of contact for inclusive, equitable recruitment practices
  • In collaboration with stakeholders, provides assistance with the development, implementation, management, and assessment of outreach activities to support ongoing job recruitment of high-quality candidates for part-time and full-time positions
  • Manage recruitment platforms to track, calendar and scheduling of recruitment events
  • Create and deliver engaging presentations to promote job opportunities, in settings such as job fairs, campus events, and community outreach
  • Manage all job-fairs, employment specific presentations/opportunities, and event tabling for the active candidate sourcing of future ASI employees
  • Assist with the development and implementation of ASI recruitment activities for student candidates for resume building, mock interviews, and application assistance
  • Effectively collaborate with unit colleagues to ensure ease of communication and management of the recruit to candidate transition
  • Assists with the management, and assessment of an inclusive, welcoming, equitable candidate experience from recruit development to candidate readiness
  • Create positive and sustainable external relationships with campus stakeholders for recruitment opportunities (ie. Department Charis, campus centers)
  • Assists with the development, documentation, and implementation of standard operating procedures for the recruitment including human-centered best practices
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, assist with management of talent acquisition dashboards, reports, and analysis, ensuring key organizational and departmental metrics are attained
  • Assist with general HR inquiries, issues and discrepancies from employees, managers, and administrators, as needed
  • Maintains an inclusive department environment by providing exceptional customer service for ASI staff, management, and off campus constituents
  • Actively stays updated on current recruitment best practices and trends including compliance with all legal requirements
  • Role model the behaviors of ASI core values, constantly challenging one’s mental models as an active learner
  • Attends all ASI required trainings, including but not limited to, annual all staff and department retreats
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned
