Conduct quarterly and annual home study evaluations. Complete monthly reports; make recommendations to management for follow-up, de-certification, or re-certification. Coordinate all steps in the re-certification process (i.e., document non-compliant issues, follow-up with mentors in their efforts to obtain necessary documentation, ensure that physical plant corrections are made, etc.). In conjunction with extensive written and verbal communication with the State Office of Licensing, compile and submit information and advise management on whether to proceed on re-certification of a home. Assist the Program Manager, Recruiter, and Coordinators in "match" meetings. Maintain appropriate records in compliance with funding source requirements; audit mentor files monthly to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with all regulatory, contractual, corporate, and legal requirements. Develop and implement mentor retention programs, recording and maintaining the statistics necessary to measure the effectiveness of various mentor retention efforts. Coordinate monthly mentor appreciation efforts and mentor continuing education meetings and training to ensure compliance with required education hours. Responsible for the coordination of training for all currently certified mentors including CPR and First Aid training, monthly in-services, training on the client population, health, normalization, history of mentor, fire, and safety. Compile and distribute a monthly listing of local community activities and resources for recreational opportunities.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum one year of recruitment experience required.
  • Bilingual - Spanish/English preferred.
  • One year of IDD experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel throughout coverage area.
  • Current driver’s license in good standing, car registration and auto insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
