Job Purpose To effectively and efficiently partner with hiring managers in the recruiting and onboarding process. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and new hires by coordinating all aspects of recruitment from posting open job requisitions through onboarding of new hires. This is a hybrid role working from the corporate office in Schaumburg 2-3 days a week.
Requirements
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits.
- Excellent organization, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with persons of diverse backgrounds and educational levels.
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and HR related software, such as Paylocity.
- Skilled in working with others in a team environment.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- 1-2 Years of Recruitment/Talent Acquisition experience.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, sitting and/or standing, for extended time [e.g. sitting at a desk, working at a computer].
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred but not required.
- Will consider relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers in the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Responsible for posting job requisitions through Paylocity and external job boards.
- Assist with passive sourcing and full life cycle recruiting when needed.
- Process and review candidate profiles to evaluate qualifications or eligibility for employment.
- Partner with hiring managers to coordinate the offer letter process and background checks.
- Coordinate the electronic onboarding process ensuring all steps are completed appropriately.
- Conduct new hire orientations on a weekly basis.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as processing new hire paperwork and data entry utilizing Excel.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
