This position ensures recruitment and yield activities are executed efficiently and professionally, contributing to the school’s enrollment goals and the overall student experience from initial contact through matriculation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least five years experience supporting recruitment, admissions, student engagement, event coordination, or administrative operations in a higher education or related setting.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple activities, deadlines, and logistics simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Assistant Director for Recruiting and Civic Education in the planning and execution of all recruitment and yield initiatives.
  • Coordinate communication between high schools and the Admissions Office regarding upcoming visits, schedule campus and off-site recruitment activities, and confirm student and counselor availability.
  • Represent the School at college fairs and high school events, including event setup, tabling, and direct engagement with prospective students and families.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive recruitment contact lists across Texas and nationwide.
  • Utilize tracking spreadsheets, Slate, and other CRM systems to ensure prospective students, counselors, and school partners receive appropriate communications, invitations to student-focused events, and informational materials.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Recruitment to identify priority schools and key contacts for outreach.
  • Provide logistical and operational support for all recruitment events, including coordinating communications, managing RSVP lists, preparing materials, overseeing event setup and breakdown, arranging catering, greeting attendees, and assisting with event flow.
  • Engage with students and families during events to provide general program information and ensure a welcoming experience.
  • Facilitate coordination and communication with campus partners, including the Admissions Office and other relevant departments, to ensure alignment on recruitment strategy, event participation, and visitor experience.
  • Support all yield initiatives through coordinated communications, mailing campaigns, promotional materials distribution, swag preparation, and post-event follow-up with admitted students and families.
  • Assist in planning and executing VIP campus visits and extended visit itineraries.
  • Coordinate schedules with faculty, staff, and student ambassadors; arrange hospitality needs such as meals and refreshments; and communicate directly with families and School stakeholders to finalize visit details.
  • Support the development and implementation of summer camp programming for high school students, including coordinating a full-day campus experience.
  • Work with faculty to schedule and assign Freedom and Virtue Seminars and ensure all logistical components are organized and communicated.
  • Coordinate ordering and distribution of print materials and branded promotional items.
  • Work with Business Affairs, the Academic Program Coordinator, Document Solutions, and approved vendors to obtain quotes, track budgets, process orders, and monitor inventory levels.
  • Assist in developing foundational infrastructure for a future alumni database by organizing existing contact information, researching data management tools, and creating preliminary tracking systems to support long-term alumni engagement efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the Undergraduate Studies Office.
