About The Position

We are seeking a Recruitment Communications Assistant to support hiring efforts through both candidate engagement and the development of thoughtful, effective communication strategies. This role blends recruiting support with a focus on how we connect with candidates, present opportunities, and maintain meaningful engagement throughout the hiring process. The ideal candidate is someone who can build rapport, communicate clearly, and connect the bigger picture for candidates, ensuring they feel informed, engaged, and confident throughout the process.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, communications, or a customer-facing sales role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with a range of audiences
  • Ability to develop and adjust messaging based on context, audience, and goals
  • Comfortable guiding conversations and addressing candidate questions thoughtfully
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience supporting outreach campaigns or communication strategies
  • Background in recruiting, marketing, communications, or customer success
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or CRM tools

Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and engage candidates for open roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to support timely hiring efforts
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication with candidates throughout the process
  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience from initial outreach through offer stage
  • Support the development of candidate outreach strategies and messaging to improve engagement and response rates
  • Draft and refine emails, call scripts, and follow-up communications that are clear, relevant, and timely
  • Contribute to approaches that help keep the organization top of mind for candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Adapt communication style and messaging based on candidate audience, role type, and stage in the process
  • Communicate role expectations and organizational context in a way that is clear, engaging, and easy to understand
  • Confidently navigate candidate questions and conversations, even when details are evolving or limited
  • Connect the bigger picture by helping candidates understand how the role fits within the team and organization
  • Bring energy and clarity to conversations, making opportunities feel approachable and meaningful
  • Navigate complex or sensitive discussions with professionalism, transparency, and good judgment
  • Build strong relationships with candidates through thoughtful, timely, and personalized communication
  • Adapt messaging based on the candidate, ensuring each interaction feels relevant and intentional
  • Support candidates through decision-making by ensuring they feel informed and confident
