About The Position

The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting for skilled industrial, mechanical, transportation, and field-based positions supporting trucking, crane, logistics, and industrial services operations. This role works closely with the Safety Supervisor and Operations team to ensure all employees meet site-specific safety, certification, credentialing, and compliance requirements prior to placement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-4 years recruiting experience in industrial, mechanical, trucking, or logistics industries
  • Familiarity with plant-required certifications and safety-sensitive hiring
  • Knowledge of per diem practices for traveling employees
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Recruit for CDL Drivers, Crane Operators, Riggers, Pipefitters, Boilermakers, Field Supervisors, and other industrial roles
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers
  • Coordinate certifications such as CDL, NCCCO, TWIC, rigging, and plant-specific training
  • Coordinate pre-employment testing including drug screens, background checks, MVRs, and physicals
  • Recruit for out-of-state and temporary, project-based assignments
  • Maintain knowledge of per diem eligibility and compliance
  • Maintain accurate recruiting and credentialing records
  • Support onboarding and safety orientations
