About The Position

The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to support the company’s staffing needs. This role will work closely with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, maintain talent pipelines, and ensure a smooth hiring process. The Recruiter will play a key role in attracting top talent to meet the company’s operational goals and uphold our commitment to quality care. Our recruiters' number one expectation is to embody our mission, demonstrating genuine care and commitment to the well-being and success of the individuals we serve.

Requirements

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, self-managed environment.
  • Type 60 + wpm
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Mail, etc.).
  • Proficiency in managing project based systems such as Monday or Asana.
  • Ability to build relationships with potential candidates and community partners.
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and ability to travel for recruitment events.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required;
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to travel locally for recruiting events as needed up to 50% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for caregiver and administrative positions to ensure all staffing needs are met.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess qualifications and fit within the company culture.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
  • Maintain job postings on various platforms, ensuring consistent branding and compliance with company policies.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct reference checks, background checks, and onboarding.
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide reports on hiring trends and effectiveness.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and community outreach programs to promote employment opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Follow up with new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and system requirements in the applicant tracking system.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Participate in recruitment-related projects and initiatives as needed within the community.
  • Provide exceptional communication with candidates and internal teams.
  • Duties may evolve as the needs of the company evolve.
