Requirements

  • Recruiting experience in high-volume or entry-level hiring environments.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to connect with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable using applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
  • Team player with a proactive mindset, eager to contribute to projects and continuous improvement.
  • Union recruiting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of four (4) years relevant work experience in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related area.
  • PLUS minimum of one (1) year of human resource experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and deliver effective recruiting strategies.
  • Source and engage candidates through proactive outreach and pipeline development for entry-level and high-volume roles.
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from posting jobs to extending offers, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate interviews and onboarding activities, supporting smooth transitions for new hires.
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements to enhance talent acquisition efforts.
  • Consults with hiring leaders and human resource professionals to develop hiring strategies and plans that support workforce needs.
  • Creatively source high caliber candidates by maximizing sourcing strategies.
  • Reviews / screens resumes and presents top candidates to hiring leaders.
  • Manages candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle while ensuring a positive end-to-end experience.
  • Partners with TA leadership to effectively monitor, track and trend metrics and KPIs related to assigned roles.
  • Coordinates and attends recruiting events including job fairs, open houses, college fairs and community networking sessions.
  • Adheres to all established practices and standards while ensuring compliance with all Federal and State laws. APS policies, and procedures
  • Completes assigned work in applicant tracking system to ensure requisition and candidate activity is reflected accurately.
  • Initiates and drives special projects to elevate the recruiting process and implement creative methods to find and place top tier candidates.
