The core mission of the Recruiting Operations (RecOps) team at Roblox is to strategically optimize the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring its efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness. We build and maintain the crucial operational infrastructure—including process, technology, data governance, and compliance—which empowers Talent Acquisition (TA) to consistently find, interview, and achieve the best possible hiring outcomes for the organization. As an Associate Recruiting Operations Specialist, you will play an integral role in supporting the operational health of our recruitment lifecycle. . You will balance high-level strategic project work with essential day-to-day execution to ensure our Talent Acquisition (TA) team operates at peak efficiency. Success in this role requires a growth mindset and proactive ownership. We are looking for organized individuals who demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, cross-functional partnership and ability to learn, adapt and apply new skills in problem solving. This is a 6 month temporary position based at our office in San Mateo (HQ).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with a proven history of managing high-volume, complex operational tasks.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage independent workstreams and contribute to large-scale cross-functional initiatives.
  • ATS Familiarity: Demonstrated hands-on experience and proficiency with a major Applicant Tracking System (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday, Lever), including running standard reports and managing data entry.
  • Detail Orientation: Exceptional accuracy in handling sensitive data and maintaining data integrity
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly explain operational procedures and policy guidelines to internal stakeholders (Recruiters, Hiring Managers).
  • Process Improvement Mindset: Highly inquisitive and proactive with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, think at scale, and maximize efficiency for the team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Tooling & Projects: Support senior team members on large-scale recruitment transformations while independently leading smaller projects that advance our TA tooling strategy.
  • System Administration: Execute daily functions within Greenhouse and our TA tool stack, rigorously monitoring data quality and system health.
  • Operational Agility: Provide ad hoc operational support across the RecOps function, including the coordination and execution of onsite interviews to ensure a premium candidate experience.
  • Governance & Compliance: Act as the first point of contact for policy inquiries, ensuring all activities adhere to global governance, GDPR, and EEO standards.
  • Process Documentation: Assist in documenting and rolling out updates to recruiting workflows, empowering recruiters to use TA technology effectively.
  • Ticketing & Analytics: Manage the RecOps ticketing system (Tier 2/3 inquiries) and distribute routine metrics and compliance audits.
