About The Position

The Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist is responsible for supporting full-cycle recruitment efforts and coordinating onboarding activities for our manufacturing operations in Gunnison, Utah. This role plays a key part in attracting, hiring, and successfully integrating high-quality talent into the organization. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of recruiting experience, demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, and be a proactive self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience (manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to represent the company positively to candidates.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the HR Manager and hiring managers to understand workforce needs.
  • Post job openings on appropriate platforms and manage applicant tracking systems.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist in extending job offers and preparing offer letters.
  • Track recruitment metrics and maintain organized candidate records.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks and new hire paperwork.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and ensure a smooth first-day experience.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure completion of required documentation.
  • Partner with department managers to ensure proper training plans are in place.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and compliance documentation.
