About The Position

The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Recruiting Manager to join our dynamic team. The role of a Recruiting Manager will be essential for finding and hiring the best talent for the organization. The Recruiting Manager will create and execute recruitment plans, oversee the recruitment process, and establish a good relationship with hiring managers and candidates. The aim will be to make sure that TLG hires and retains top talent, supporting its success and growth. Thirty percent travel required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition required.
  • Proven track record of successfully filling positions with high-quality candidates, strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Work with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions and performance appraisals
  • Design, implement, and train hiring managers in successful hiring practices.
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and candidate processing plan to facilitate the timely hiring of qualified candidates.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with management to determine the effectiveness of recruiting strategies being used.
  • Use all necessary recruiting sources and tools to develop a pool of potentially qualified candidates in advance of actual need. This would include leveraging job boards, industry contacts, association memberships, military transition organizations, trade groups and current employees.
  • Research and recommend new sources for use in recruiting potential candidates who may be active or passive job seekers.
  • Track and measure the success of those external sourcing entities and adjust usage, as necessary.
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, build relationships, and to source new candidates.
  • Ensure that the recruiting team maintains regular contact with potential future candidates and tracks those efforts.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process to ensure that all recruitment information is handled in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Manage day to day activities and projects of other Recruiting team members.
  • Ensure that all appropriate recruitment information is collected and maintained using ATS and HRIS applications. Additionally, ensure that the in-house recruiters fully understand how the software works and provide training where needed.
