About The Position

We are looking for our first Recruiting Manager to build the recruiting function from the ground up and scale a world-class team. You will own full-cycle recruiting across every function — robotics engineering, hardware, AI/ML, and go-to-market — and work directly with the CEO to define our hiring bar and tell our story to the talent market. This role requires high agency, strong sourcing instincts, and the ability to thrive where the map doesn't exist yet.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience at a high-growth startup or deep-tech company
  • Proven track record sourcing and closing senior technical talent in robotics, hardware, AI/ML, or adjacent fields
  • Experience building a recruiting function from scratch, not inheriting a mature one
  • High agency and low ego — you deliver results without being managed
  • Strong sourcing instincts; you find the people who aren't applying, warm them up, and close them
  • Excellent judgment on candidate quality and fit; a trusted partner to hiring managers, not just a coordinator
  • Sharp written and verbal communication — you can sell Dexmate's mission to a skeptical senior engineer
  • Proficient with ATS platforms (Ashyb, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar) and LinkedIn Recruiter

Nice To Haves

  • Recruiting experience at a robotics, physical AI, generative AI, or deep-tech hardware company
  • Prior 0→1 experience building a talent or people function
  • Familiarity with technical concepts across robotics, embedded systems, and AI/ML
  • Experience with employer branding or talent marketing in deep tech

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across all functions: robotics engineering, hardware/mechanical, AI/ML, and go-to-market (sales, BD, marketing), etc.
  • Build Dexmate's recruiting infrastructure: ATS setup, sourcing pipelines, interview frameworks, scorecards, and offer workflows
  • Partner directly with the CEO and hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate profiles, and set the hiring bar
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates through outbound outreach, networking, and events — especially senior technical talent in robotics, embedded systems, and physical AI
  • Drive a candidate experience that reflects Dexmate's standards from first touch to signed offer
  • Shape our employer brand and represent Dexmate's mission in the physical AI talent market
  • Manage recruiting agency relationships and coordinate external partners
  • Track pipeline health and share weekly updates with leadership
