Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Interest in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing job requests by helping draft job descriptions, coordinating with hiring managers, and posting positions to our ATS and Workforce Services websites
  • Support the onboarding phase of the recruitment process through accurate data entry and helping facilitate timely background checks
  • Help prepare offer letters using standardized templates and assist with routing them for approvals and sending finalized offers
  • Assist with registering for career fairs at nearby universities, coordinating attendance, managing swag orders, and representing the company at events as needed
  • Support ASCE sponsorships and engagement efforts with Civil Engineering programs, including helping organize classroom presentations and related events
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of student office visits that highlight our company and available opportunities
  • Help track and support the Employee Referral Bonus Program and New Hire Signing Bonuses
  • Assist in managing 5–15 intern and entry-level requisitions by reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and helping guide applications through the hiring process
