Primary Function : The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for supporting the full-cycle recruitment process by coordinating candidate activity, managing job postings, and ensuring a positive and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This role serves as the primary point of contact for candidates during the recruitment process and provides essential administrative and operational support to the Talent Acquisition team. The position will be based in our Houston, Texas office located at 12301 Kurland Drive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience (4 years) will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a recruiting, HR, or administrative support role
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) preferred; familiarity with job posting platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a candidate-first mindset and a high standard of professionalism
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to occasionally stand and walk within an office environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Occasional travel to other offices or meeting locations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of job postings across applicant tracking systems, job boards, and other sourcing channels, ensuring accuracy and consistency of posted content.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates during the recruitment process, providing timely communication and status updates throughout all stages.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a professional and well-organized experience for all parties.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring data integrity and pipeline hygiene.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities including background checks, drug screens, and reference checks, tracking completion and communicating status to the recruiting team.
  • Prepare and process offer letters and new hire documentation in coordination with the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams.
  • Support onboarding coordination by ensuring a smooth handoff from Talent Acquisition to People Operations upon offer acceptance.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics including open requisitions, pipeline status, time-to-fill, and candidate activity.
  • Support recruitment marketing efforts and employer branding initiatives.
  • Assist the University Relations Specialist with coordination of college recruiting activities, campus events, intern programs, and graduate hire onboarding logistics.
  • Ensure a consistent, professional candidate experience at every stage of the process that reflects Dashiell's culture and values.
  • Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested.
