About The Position

The Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent for skill trades to high-level positions within Rex Moore, including roles such as Foreman, General Foreman, Electrical Designer, Engineer and Division Manager. This role requires a strategic, results-driven professional with expertise in sourcing and evaluating candidates for leadership and specialized technical roles. The Recruiter collaborates closely with hiring managers and the Human Resources Manager to ensure alignment with organizational goals and workforce needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on leadership and technical roles in construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Proven success in sourcing and hiring candidates for senior-level positions.
  • Expertise in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Ability to verbally communicate: convey detailed and accurate instructions and information.
  • Ability to hear with or without correction in order to receive and interpret detailed information.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle for travel.
  • Required to sit at a desk work station for long periods of time.
  • Push, pull, lift, carry at least 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 35 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to walk and stand for short and long periods of time.
  • Required to have visual acuity with or without correction in order to read contract documents, analyze data, view a computer monitor, and proof-read documents to identify errors.
  • Required to use fingers and hands: type using a computer keyboard, handle, feel, and reach.
  • May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates for high-level positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements, team dynamics, and desired qualifications for senior roles.
  • Execute recruiting initiatives for mass hiring of skilled trades team members at various project sites.
  • Source candidates through advanced methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter, executive search firms, industry networks, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for leadership and technical roles.
  • Conduct in-depth candidate screenings and behavioral interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Provide hiring managers with comprehensive evaluations and recommendations for top candidates.
  • Partner with HR to design competitive compensation packages and extend offers.
  • Represent Rex Moore at industry events, trade shows, and career fairs to enhance the company’s employer brand.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and candidate satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor hiring practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Build and sustain a regrettable turnover employee network.
