This position is based at our Everett shipyard and requires regular travel to our Freeland (South Whidbey Island) shipyard, as well as participation in local recruiting events and outreach activities. The Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers and supervisors to meet aggressive staffing demands in a fast-paced shipyard environment. This role requires hands-on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate management across a wide range of marine and industrial trades, including but not limited to marine carpenters/joiners, welders, pipefitters, plumbers, HVAC, sheet metal workers, electricians, painters, and light structural fitters. Success in this role depends on energy, responsiveness, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), with the ability to conduct basic conversations with Spanish-speaking candidates.
  • Working knowledge of shipyard and marine trades, including welding processes, steel fabrication, pipe work, electrical, or painting trades.
