The Recruiter supports end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities within the HR Shared Services environment, with a strong emphasis on compliance, continuous improvement, data integrity, and customer service. This role applies a PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) mindset to ensure recruitment processes are consistent, audit-ready, aligned with policy, and continuously improving. Responsibilities include job postings, sourcing, screening, pre-employment steps, onboarding, HRIS data entry, reporting, and coordination with hiring managers and HR partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources with hands-on recruitment responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements and the full employment lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, iCIMS or other ATS, PeopleSoft, Office 365, and Oracle preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply PDCA and continuous improvement thinking to daily work.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and strict adherence to confidentiality and data integrity standards.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, manage multiple deadlines, adapt to change, and make sound judgments.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify process gaps or compliance risks.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR to define talent needs, job requirements, and recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure job postings, job descriptions, and recruiting plans comply with internal policies and all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements (EEO, FLSA, ADA, FCRA, affirmative action, record-keeping requirements).
  • Execute all phases of the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, candidate communication, scheduling, interviews, and coordinating assessments, background checks, and pre-employment testing.
  • Administer and track all onboarding steps, ensuring accurate and timely HRIS entry (PeopleSoft) and complete documentation for internal and audit use.
  • Represent the company at job fairs and external recruiting events, ensuring compliance with approved messaging and branding standards.
  • Maintain secure handling of confidential and sensitive data.
  • Regularly review recruitment metrics, process adherence, candidate files, and HRIS data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Validate that hiring managers follow required steps (interview documentation, selection justification, offer protocols).
  • Participate in process audits and corrective action activities.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to standard work, templates, workflows, and tools based on data and audit findings.
  • Support OE/Lean initiatives by applying PDCA, 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, Daily Management, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Escalate compliance risks or process deviations promptly and support corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.
  • Support HR Shared Services initiatives, policy updates, and cross-functional process improvements
