Hartford HealthCare, a company with more than 18,000 employees and over $2 billion in net revenue, is seeking a Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. The recruiter will perform full cycle recruitment activities and processes such as sourcing, recruitment, and selection of key internal and external talent for identified needs while maintaining a high level of service and achieving a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years recruiting experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and problem solving skills, along with a strong customer service focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment along with successful work in a matrix environment that requires collaboration with HR centers of excellence to achieve results.
  • Experience with high volume Applicant Tracking Systems, e.g Taleo Enterprise, and HRIS PeopleSoft systems is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • 5-7 years of recruiting experience strongly preferred.
  • Clinical recruitment experience on a high volume HR team based environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs full-cycle recruitment including candidate sourcing, resume and application review, phone screening of qualified applicants, coordinating the interview and onboarding process for new hires, and managing the offer process.
  • Partners with hiring managers to plan and implement recruiting strategies for positions as well as to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Understands and communicates the labor market conditions and the impact on availability of talent in the market; proactively adjusting recruiting strategies to ensure hiring goals are achieved.
  • Plans and attends various recruitment functions for the organization including job fairs, open houses, college recruitment fairs and national conferences.
  • Serves as the contact person for recruitment agencies and develops and manages advertisements of open positions using a variety of media including social media.
  • Ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work independently and as part of a collective team.

  • Maintains up to date knowledge and compliance with federal and state employment laws and guidelines.
  • Travels as needed to various local sites as needed.
