They also coordinate interviews and make recommendations for recruiting sources, applicant tracking systems, new recruiting avenues and changes in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology or other related area of study required. Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 2 years of recruiting experience required, including full life cycle recruitment of technical and professional talent.
  • Demonstrated MS Office skills (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint) and knowledge of ATS and HR systems required.
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws, wage and hour laws and recruitment strategies, trends and best employment practices.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively support recruiting strategies to identify and attract top talent.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills including strong listening, verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and exhibit effective time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Travel up to 20%.
  • Ability to be available after working hours and on weekends (as needed) to communicate with candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Manages full cycle recruiting process for job openings including senior level and/or critical positions.
  • Collaborates with department managers and recruiting team to identify and draft detailed and accurate job postings and hiring criteria. Ensures job postings are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Advises business teams of potential fits. Assists with the candidate selection process.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and other HR staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other pertinent details.
  • Drafts offers for formal approval.
  • Coaches hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Screens and interviews candidates and coordinates interviews and meetings.
  • Ensures candidates are effectively communicated with throughout the hiring cycle.
  • Keeps accurate notes on candidate status to communicate with the recruiting and hiring team.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinates with HR and IT for onboarding of candidates.
  • Implements efficient and effective recruiting methods based on the role, industry standards and the needs of the organization.
  • Identifies and attracts candidates for all open positions utilizing online searches, social media and networking.
  • Identifies direct and indirect competitors for all locations.
  • Sources and identifies candidates for highly specialized and difficult-to-attract positions utilizing creative recruiting methods and tools.
  • Sources passive talent through social media networks.
  • Communicates market trends to influence timelines and sets realistic expectations with team and hiring managers.
  • Leverages professional networks to gain industry information on current talent landscape.
  • Creates and promotes job postings in the applicant tracking system and on multiple social media platforms.
  • Posts job openings to various sites, including government mandated sites for compliance purposes.
  • Researches recruiting tools, trends and best practices to ensure recruiting practices are effective and current.
  • Utilizes talent market research and works with compensation team to influence total rewards strategies to attract talent.
  • Recommends process improvements for overall recruiting strategy.
  • Employs diversity recruitment strategies, including audit of postings, targeted talent ads, bias analysis, etc. as needed to support organizational goals.
  • Partners with and coaches hiring managers on best practices for recruiting and interviewing.
  • Provides one-on-one support with reviewing resumes, interviewing questions and techniques, etc.
  • Identifies and attends or participates in college career fairs to source and recruit qualified talent.
  • Forms and evaluates relationships with colleges, universities, student organizations, high schools and other relevant organizations for recruiting purposes.
  • Creates strategy and continually analyzes college and high school pipelining efforts.
