About The Position

Ascend Staffing is looking for a motivated Recruiter to support both Direct Hire recruiting and general recruiting efforts. In this role, you’ll play an important part in helping candidates find meaningful work while helping clients find the talent they need. You’ll manage recruiting efforts from sourcing and screening to placement, while building strong talent pipelines and delivering an excellent experience to candidates and clients alike. Pay Rate $26.00–$30.00/hour + 10% Commission on Direct Hire Placements Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using social media and online job boards for recruiting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Self-motivated with a passion for helping people find meaningful work
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Strong relationship-building and follow-up skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in staffing, recruiting, customer service, or HR is a plus
  • Direct Hire recruiting experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for Direct Hire openings from sourcing through placement
  • Support general recruiting efforts for temporary, temp-to-hire, and other staffing needs
  • Source candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates, and evaluate qualifications
  • Build strong candidate pipelines for current and future openings
  • Match candidates with the right opportunities based on skills, experience, and client needs
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain communication throughout the hiring process
  • Deliver a positive experience for both candidates and clients
  • Maintain accurate records and track recruiting activity in internal systems
  • Partner with internal teams to fill positions quickly and effectively
  • Help drive revenue growth through successful Direct Hire placements
