About The Position

The Corporate Recruiter –  is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. The recruiter works closely with operations leadership and the human resources team to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates. Because many candidates speak Spanish as their primary language, bilingual communication (English/Spanish) is required to effectively engage driver candidates throughout the recruiting process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent recruiting experience.
  • 3–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, construction, or skilled labor environments.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • Experience sourcing or recruiting CDL drivers or safety-sensitive positions strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with DOT driver qualification standards.
  • Experience recruiting in high-volume or operational environments.

Responsibilities

  • CDL Driver Candidate Sourcing
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified driver candidates.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including: CDL recruiting platforms and job boards such as 10 Street Employee referral programs Social media recruiting Community outreach and workforce programs Trade schools and CDL training programs Job fairs and recruiting events
  • Build relationships with CDL schools and workforce development organizations to generate candidate flow.
  • Candidate Screening & Qualification
  • Conduct initial recruiter screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications, including: CDL classification and endorsements Relevant driving experience Schedule availability Ability to meet physical job requirements Alignment with company safety expectations
  • Ensure candidates meet baseline requirements before advancing them in the hiring process.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
  • Bilingual Candidate Engagement
  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking candidates during the recruiting process.
  • Assist candidates with application completion and job information in both English and Spanish.
  • Provide clear expectations regarding job duties, schedules, and company safety standards.
  • Interview Coordination
  • Ensure hiring managers receive relevant candidate information prior to interviews.
  • Maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the interview process.
  • Partnership with Operations
  • Collaborate with Area Production Managers and Operations leadership to understand hiring needs.
  • Support workforce planning by maintaining candidate pipelines for current and future driver openings.
  • Recruiting Activity & Reporting
  • Track recruiting activity including: Candidate pipeline development Source effectiveness Interview scheduling and outcomes Turnover statistics
  • Provide updates to HR leadership and Operations on recruiting progress and candidate availability.
