About The Position

CarShop-Penske Automotive Group is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic candidate to support recruiting strategies by providing accurate and timely maintenance of all Recruiting functions across our 6 locations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources/Recruiting experience strongly preferred.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a history of striving for, and achieving excellent results. This position is remote however must be able to travel to multiple locations based off of the needs of the business.
  • He/She demonstrates consistent application of logic, practicality, and objectivity in decision making while maintaining a balance between quick decisiveness and thorough analysis.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize key staffing initiatives across multiple locations in multiple states.
  • The Recruiter is organized, efficient, and has excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient dealing with fast-paced, rapidly changing and often ambiguous environments; have a commitment to details.
  • Demonstrated ability to keep confidential information private.
  • Previous experience using a ATS is preferred
  • Exemplary communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and associates.

  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently with little or no supervision Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to prepare presentations and general correspondence
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1 to 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. HRIS acumen with a track record of understanding/utilizing an ATS system, preferably ADP Recruiting Management. The ability to work effectively autonomously, with little oversight.

Responsibilities

  • The Recruiter will be the driving force behind the development and execution of all talent acquisition processes.
  • He/She will attract, identify and screen for a variety of positions depending on staffing needs.
  • The Recruiter will utilize online job boards, technical school contacts, and other methods to increase candidate pipeline for all positions.
  • Utilizing best practices, the Recruiter will serve as the point-of-contact for all staffing-related matters, and will ensure timely follow-up with all department heads.
  • They will support recruitment initiatives and programs that align with the CarShop goals and values.
  • He/She will also assist the CarShop Human Resources department on key initiatives and projects, and will ensure that new hires are on-boarded in a timely manner.
