About The Position

KAI Partners, Inc. (KAIP) is currently seeking a Recruiter who is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of employees and contractors across KAI Partners. This includes sourcing, screening, and coordinating the hiring process, while supporting staffing requirements for both internal positions and proposal development efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to candidate engagement and compliance support.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Advanced experience in Word and Excel is a plus.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 1–4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a staffing or consulting environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RFP/RFO proposal staffing is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of contractual staffing processes and terminology is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring leads, leadership, and the Co-Recruiter to define job requirements, timelines, and skillsets needed.
  • Develop and post job requisitions that align with the company's hiring standards.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidate alignment with position qualifications.
  • Perform background checks and reference verifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including status updates for open, pending, and filled positions.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities.
  • Participate in recruiting events and job fairs as needed.
  • Work with the Business Services Manager and HR to support negotiations and special hiring requirements.
  • Review staffing-related sections of RFPs and provide input during bid/no-bid decisions.
  • Partner with the Proposal Development team to identify and recruit staff for proposal response needs.
  • Assist in creating compliant staffing documentation for proposals, such as resumes and staff experience tables.
  • Format and update resumes to align with solicitation requirements.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to timelines and deliverables for proposal submissions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
