About The Position

About the Role: As a onsite Temp to Perm Recruiter within the Transportation and Call Center industry, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent to meet the organization's staffing needs. Your efforts will directly impact the company's operational efficiency and growth by ensuring that critical roles are filled with qualified candidates promptly. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and facilitating offers. Collaborating closely with hiring managers, you will develop tailored recruitment strategies that align with business objectives and workforce planning. Ultimately, your work will contribute to building a skilled and diverse workforce that supports the dynamic demands of the transportation and warehousing sector.

Requirements

  • Proven experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) in a recruitment capacity.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of staffing services and recruitment best practices.
  • Experience in technical recruiting and contract recruitment within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting within the transportation and warehousing industry or a related field.
  • Familiarity with college recruiting programs and building relationships with academic institutions.
  • Previous involvement in organizing and attending recruiting events and job fairs.
  • Knowledge of temporary staffing processes and workforce flexibility solutions.
  • Certification in recruitment or human resources (e.g., AIRS, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track candidate progress and maintain accurate recruitment records.
  • Develop and execute college recruiting initiatives to attract emerging talent and build a pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Coordinate and participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and networking opportunities to promote the company and attract candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop effective staffing strategies, including contract and temporary staffing solutions.
  • Leverage internet recruiting tools and platforms to source passive and active candidates across various technical and non-technical roles.
  • Maintain strong relationships with staffing agencies and external partners to support contract recruitment efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
