About The Position

We are seeking a high-performing Medical Sales Recruiter with a proven track record of sourcing, attracting, and placing top-tier medical device sales representatives. This is a 1099, commission-only role designed for experienced recruiters who are ready to operate like true business owners: self-driven, accountable, and motivated by results. Ideal candidates already have a network or book of business within medical device sales and are comfortable running a full desk independently. This is not a part-time, side-gig opportunity. We are looking for dedicated recruiters who can commit full-time or near full-time hours and who thrive in a fast-paced, client-driven environment across CST and EST time zones. What You Will Recruit Medical Sales Representatives across: • Surgical and Operating Room product lines (capital equipment, disposables, reusables, implants) • Medical device specialties including robotics, endoscopy, orthopedics, spine, cardiovascular, respiratory, and durable equipment • Pharma and biotech field sales roles • Wound care, advanced tissue/skin substitutes, ostomy, and chronic-care product lines • Other high-demand medical technologies including diagnostics, imaging, and health systems solutions

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience recruiting medical device sales representatives.
  • Proven success placing candidates in surgical/OR-based roles, capital equipment sales, pharma sales, wound care, or comparable medical device verticals.
  • Existing book of business or strong network within medical sales (preferred).
  • Ability to commit to full-time or near full-time hours as an independent contractor.
  • Strong sourcing ability using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • High sense of urgency, competitiveness, and ability to deliver consistent weekly output.
  • Excellent time management and self-discipline; comfortable operating without oversight.
  • Commission-only mindset with motivation to grow your pipeline and earnings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for medical sales roles, including sourcing, outreach, screening, client submissions, interview coordination, and offer management.
  • Leverage your existing network and expand relationships with sales professionals across surgical, device, and pharma verticals.
  • Conduct deep-dive screening to assess territory experience, quota history, ranking, clinical aptitude, and OR proficiency when applicable.
  • Present qualified candidates with accuracy, speed, and professionalism.
  • Maintain consistent weekly performance, strong communication, and proactive follow-through with both candidates and internal teams.
  • Operate independently as a 1099 business owner, managing your own schedule, tools, sourcing strategies, and pipelines.
  • Work fluidly across all US time zones (PST–EST) to support candidate and client availability.
