About The Position

Allen Control Systems (ACS) is a cutting-edge defense startup founded by two former Navy electrical engineers with a proven track record in robotics and software. We are developing a small, autonomous gun turret that employs advanced computer vision and control systems to precisely target and neutralize small drones and loitering munitions. We are seeking a Manufacturing Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting for high-volume manufacturing and technical operations roles. This position focuses on sourcing and hiring candidates such as manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, technicians, planners, and other manufacturing professionals to support our fast-paced, high-growth production environment.

Requirements

3–8 years of experience in recruiting, with a strong focus on manufacturing, engineering, or technical operations roles.
Proven success in high-volume recruiting environments.
Experience recruiting for roles such as manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, technicians, planners, or other production-related positions.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter or Greenhouse.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing and operations roles, including manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, technicians, production planners, and other manufacturing support positions.
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, production timelines, and team needs.
Source candidates through multiple channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, recruiting agencies, and networking events.
Screen candidates for technical competency, experience in manufacturing environments, and cultural fit.
Facilitate the interview, offer, and onboarding process to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
Maintain accurate and compliant records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Track recruiting metrics to optimize sourcing strategies and meet high-volume hiring targets.
Represent ACS at career fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities to attract top manufacturing talent.
