YOUR ROLE As a Recruiter supporting CEVA’s Ground & Rail (G&R) Dedicated operations, you will drive the full recruitment process for operational and administrative roles critical to day‑to‑day site performance. You will partner closely with local operations, HR, and regional leadership to ensure staffing levels support customer commitments, operational stability, and network reliability. All activity must align with CEVA standards, compliance requirements, and G&R operational expectations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of high‑volume, full‑cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience supporting logistics, transportation, warehouse, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with operations‑focused teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • Experience hiring in yard, hostler, dispatch, or Dedicated transportation environments.
  • Strong sourcing ability for operational talent pools.
  • Knowledge of employment law and operational compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and maintain accuracy under time‑sensitive conditions.
  • Strong problem‑solving and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive staffing information.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with G&R Dedicated site leaders to understand weekly workforce needs, volume fluctuations, and account‑specific requirements.
  • Provide clear market and pipeline visibility to operations and HR to support planning and minimize downtime.
  • Recruit for operational positions (hostlers, drivers, material handlers), support roles, and frontline leaders within G&R Dedicated.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, customer‑specific compliance steps, and any transportation‑related requirements during the hiring process.
  • Post openings, source candidates, conduct screening and interviews, and prepare accurate hiring recommendations.
  • Maintain strict documentation standards within CEVA’s ATS to support EEO, audit readiness, and operational reporting.
  • Manage candidates through the stages of the hiring process, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and alignment with site needs.
  • Coordinate screenings and start‑date alignment to ensure new hires are work‑ready on Day 1.
  • Partner with site leaders to ensure onboarding expectations are clear and operationally aligned.
  • Provide status updates to local and regional stakeholders and flag risks early, especially for critical Dedicated account roles.
  • Support weekly/bi‑weekly updates, notes, and recruiting sections in G&R workforce reports.
  • Participate in hiring events, onsite recruiting support, and community outreach that reinforce pipeline stability.
  • Coach hiring managers on selection practices and required hiring steps.
  • Ensure all activity complies with CEVA, customer, state, and federal requirements.
