Requirements

  • 1 + years of staffing/recruiting experience
  • Excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills, and team-based project experience
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • In-depth knowledge of different trades job roles
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in recruiting for roles within the industrial construction sector preferred.
  • Experience in general HR functions preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades roles - including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Identify and utilize effective recruiting strategies across job boards, databases, social media, and networking channels.
  • Maintain and post job ads on multiple platforms; ensure consistent employer branding and candidate pipeline flow.
  • Manage candidate records and recruiting activity in the ATS; track applicants, interviews, and hires for reporting.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers, including preparing interview questions and evaluation materials.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR to recommend compensation, incentives, start dates, and support the offer process.
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through proactive communication and support throughout the hiring process.
  • Support onboarding activities, including offer letters and pre-employment requirements, to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Build relationships with trade schools and attend industry career events to support workforce development.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and support continuous improvement of recruiting processes.
