About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Recruiter & Coordinator to join our team. As a Recruiter & Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews for potential candidates. Your main goal will be to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process that results in the selection of the best candidates for our organization. You will work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to understand the needs of the organization and identify the best talent to meet those needs. The successful applicant will be expected to perform both traditional recruiting (sourcing, interviewing) duties as well as administrative (new hire processing) duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment or HR coordination
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation industry
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment
  • Experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Certification in HR or recruitment

Responsibilities

  • Source and screen potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and referrals
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in our applicant tracking system
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with the organization's goals
  • Actively participate in College Recruitment efforts, through participation in Job Fais and in supporting our Apprentice and Migration Programs
