About The Position

We are seeking an energetic team player to coordinate and execute various activities programs and events for the Breakers West Sports and Activities Complex encompassing the Fitness Center Tennis Courts Pool and Kids Clubhouse The Recreation Specialist will be responsible for organizing programs and events for the Breakers West Summer Camp including tennis swimming golf instruction arts and crafts and other camp activities for children aged 5 to 14

Requirements

Previous experience working with children in a recreational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and their families
Ability to plan and organize various activities and events
Knowledge of sports and recreational activities such as tennis swimming and golf
Energetic enthusiastic and passionate about creating memorable experiences for children

Nice To Haves

Certification in CPR and first aid preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute a variety of activities programs and events for the Breakers West Sports and Activities Complex
Organize and oversee programs and events for the Breakers West Summer Camp ensuring a fun and engaging experience for children
Provide tennis swimming golf instruction and lead arts and crafts activities during the summer camp
Interact directly with children aged 5 to 14 ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment
Check in members and their guests at the Fitness Center and coordinate lessons for tennis and fitness instruction
